In two intense and fast-paced days, Profile gives participants an overview of Dublin and offers an introduction to key players. Participants are able to get behind the scenes to examine how the various agencies and services operate and see aspects of the area with which they might not otherwise come in contact.
If you would benefit from a local briefing about Dublin – to give you the bigger picture for a city you’re getting to know, or just to re-inspire you about a city you know well – this is the right programme for you.
What’s the benefit?
Profile is a two-day investment that can pay dividends for years, as participants’ perspectives on the area are shaped.
Participants gain local insight as they:
- are briefed by local experts to get an overview of the area
- visit key places to gain direct experience of the city, town or area
- consider crucial issues – such as education, health, the economy, employment and regeneration – with the people who set the agendas for them locally
- ask tough questions – of outside speakers and of each other
- connect with peers in different sectors to discuss threats and opportunities hitting the region
- experience the sense of common purpose that comes from working with a diverse group of other stakeholders in the area.
Profile is shorter than Common Purpose’s Matrix and Focus programmes, providing a condensed offering for very time-bound leaders.
The fee for Profile is €1,500
The next Profile programme will be held on 4 & 5 March 2009. Please contact Profile Senior Programme Director Evan Ostinelli evan.ostinelli@commonpurpose.ie for more information.
